The Hackathon-SciArt fosters transdisciplinary innovation, allowing you to develop new ideas and engage with the intersection of art and science. You will learn how design and art can inspire creative approaches in science and technology and how scientific and technological perspectives can open new horizons for artists. From the various concepts developed during the hackathon, a jury will select projects to receive support for realization after the hackathon. For three months, the creative interdisciplinary teams will develop the final artwork independently – The Flowers will be transformed into the SciArt fruits. These projects will be presented at a group exhibition at the Ars Electronica Festival in September 2025. ASTER+S ASTER+S is a University of Seville project that provides methodological support for pilot experiences in the cultural (scientific + artistic + humanistic) and educational fields. We develop science-inspired artworks by our “eco-SciArt methodology. https://aster.us.es Hosted by: University of Art and Design Linz in collaboration with the University of Seville.
